Monkey Island 3 -The Curse of Monkey Island - Walkthrough Part 2
000:00 - Head back to the Barbery Coast and talk to Cutthroat Bill. Go through the options until he asks for proof that you can find real treasure. End the conversation and give him the Gold Tooth and he will join your crew.
02:28 - Next speak with Haggis and ask him to join your crew. Accept his caber toss challenge and Guybrush will win easily as we blew up the rubber tree in the previous walkthrough.
05:48 - Finally speak with the Dapper Pirate (Edward VanHelgen) and ask him to join your crew. Speak with him about dueling and go through the dialogue options. After the conversation use the Glove on him to challenge him to a gentlemen's duel.
08:40 - Close the middle Box Lid and then Open the Banjo Case behind to choose the Banjo as your weapon. When Edward starts playing he will stop and clearly play a single string, take note of the string he plays here. When Guybrush starts playing you must copy the order of the single strings Edward plays to win. Complete 3 sequences to proceed to the next part.
11:24 - When he starts playing incredibly fast, click on the Gun Pile and pick up the Pistol. Open the inventory and use the Pistol on Edward when he has the banjo at the front of his chest. He will now join the crew.
12:15 - Head back to the dueling field under the arch and use the Biscuit Cutter on the rubber tree to the right, next to the one we blew up earlier on.
13:56 - Head to the map screen and go to Danjer Cove. Walk over the the boat at the left of the screen. Open the inventory and combine the Paste with the Rubber Plug then use it on the boat's Gaping Hole. Use the boat and go to the Pirate Ship in the middle of the water.
15:26 - Use the Serrated Breadknife with the Plank then climb aboard the ship. After Guybrush gets tarred and feathered go back to Puerto Pollo and head to Blondebeard's Chicken Shoppe.
20:05 - Guybrush will find himself on the Pirate Ship. Use the Ventriloquism Book from inventory on Captain LeChimp. Guybrush will pick up a map to where they have buried Elaine. Open the Porthole and head outside to get to shore. Head to the map screen and go to Puerto Pollo and go into the side door of the Theatre.
22:46 - Go upstairs to get to a lighting control panel. Use the Handle and then follow the insturctions on the map from the pirate ship. Press the buttons in this order bottom right, top left, middle left, bottom middle, middle right, top right, top right, middle right, bottom left. And X should now be on the screen.
24:18 - With the actor now juggling, use the Chicken Grease from inventory on the Cannon Balls in the chest to the left. Now go to the right onto the stage and use the Shovel to dig up Elaine.
25:25 - Exit the ship and use the rowboat and head to the beach. Go to the map screen and go to the beach area underneath Puerto Pollo which will still be a ?.
27:00 - Give the Club Card from inventory to the Cabana Boy. Pick up a Towel and then use it on the Ice Bucket then use the Wet Towel on the Cabana Boy to get rid of him.
28:30 - Pick up the Cooking Oil and two more Towels. Use both Towels on the Ice Bucket so we now have 3 Wet Towels. Head to the right to walk to the beach. Try to walk over to the Sunbather but the sand is too hot. Use the Wet Towels on the Hot Sand to walk across.
30:02 - Pick up the Mug on the Sunbather's stomach and then open the Gate and head through to get back to the map screen. Go to Puerto Pollo and go back to Kenny's lemonade stand.
30:39 - Use the Mug from inventory on the Bottomless Mug on the table and then speak to Kenny and buy a lemonade. Pick up the Pitcher and use it on the Dye Vat which is just to the right of the lemonade stand.
31:57 - Go back to the map screen and head to Brimstone Beach to get back to the Sunbather. Use the Bottomless Mug on him and then the Pitcher with Red Dye on the Bottomless Mug to get him to turn over.
32:52 - Use the Cooking Oil with the map on his back and then pick it up. Now exit the beach to the map screen to move on to the next chapter.
36:50 - After Guybrush gets the map taken from him the crew will start to sing a rhyming sea shanty. Keep selecting dialogue options until you can select "We'll surely avoid scurvy if we all eat an orange" which will put an end to the rhyming. When Haggis asks Guybrush which style of Captain he wants to be choose "I think I'll let you guys help me out" for easier sea combat.
