This is an interesting game by The Sixth Hammer that I saw on Twitter while browsing for indie games. At first I was kinda meh but after trying it out on Steam and playing it for a bit I started getting into it. You play as this UFO going around this planet that looks like earth. You then encounter this huge cow who the guys on board the UFO want to grab because it was huge. This huge mutant alien cow don't look like your ordinary cow because of its horns. That's how the game starts. At first it feels like your normal SHMUP (Shoot Em Up) game and I thought that this was how the game was going to be the whole time. I thought that I can keep dodging enemies because I ran out of milk which is basically your main energy. Your health bar is the green and for some reason your UFO uses milk energy. lol After getting the first couple of upgrades I can see now the metroidvania part which got me more intrigued! The weapon was the first normal one which was the SHMUP part and you get to shoot down hordes of alien enemies. You also get the milk shield and then finally the milk sword! You also get to recharge your health and milk meter when you see those along the way if you're running low. So far I'm loving the milk sword which completely annihilates every enemy along the way. I also love who you can rotate the weapons and shield around your ship. That was cool! This is definitely worth checking for anyone who likes SHMUP games and metroidvania games.
