For our second Modathon 2019 showcase video, we're taking a look at Cantrips by Danae, a rather straight-forward gameplay mod that aims to add a new magical alternative for the magically inept by providing a new system of magical spells to the game called cantrips. These cantrips are spells that always work and have no chance of failure, but on the flip side, they cost four times the magicka and can't be used by experienced mages. In order to learn these cantrips, you'll first need to find some magical scrolls, which have been added to the game's leveled list, and, assuming your character is sufficiently inept in a particular school of magic, you'll be able to use these scrolls to learn cantrip spells. This is a pretty useful mod for starting characters, especially thieves or warriors who might have a low magical skill level.
