This is a demonstration of Noob Saibot in the PS1 version of Mortal Kombat 3. Read on for more information...

Noob Saibot is a hidden CPU-only opponent in the game. He is a non-selectable character.

This video shows pretty much all a human player can do with Noob Saibot without freezing the game. In MK3, trying to play as the bosses or hidden characters is prone to locking the game. You need to avoid doing specific things in order not to freeze the game.

Noob in MK3 is of course, a black silhouette of Kano. He has a very fast walking speed, and has no special moves. Therefore naturally he has all of Kano's dial-a-combos as well.

Control-wise, he's definitely way more 'lenient' than Motaro and Shao Kahn, as he is based on a 'regular character' template. Unfortunately like in the Arcade and Genesis versions, for movements which require Right/Up-Right/Down-Right to be pressed, you must have the direction held/pressed BEFORE the round starts. If you press these directions AFTER the round has started, it'll freeze the game. The left side of the D-Pad (Left/Up-Left/Down-Left) directions are flaw-free. As usual, Up and Down have no problems.

Button-wise, only the HK button is the problem here, as pressing and releasing it will freeze the game. All the other buttons (LP, HP, LK, BLOCK and RUN) do not create any problems.

Additionally, if the BLOCK button is pressed and released, Noob does an odd move where he hangs in mid-air and it hits the opponent. Unlike in the arcade version, it doesn't freeze the game in the PS1 version.
