Mortal Kombat 4 [PS1] - play as "Kitana" (unused) & Goro flaws
This is a demonstration of "Kitana" in the PS1 version of Mortal Kombat 4. Read on below for more information...
This is a demonstration of "Kitana" with the body of Goro. She is an unused/unfinished character in the game, meaning that she is non-selectable.
In the PS1 version of the game, Kitana doesn't have a body/model. Instead, only her data is left in the game. Therefore in order to play as her, you must designate her data with another character's body/model, with Shinnok as the opponent. In this case, I've used Goro as the body/model.
Her Special Moves include a Fireball, an Air Fireball, and a Square Wave Punch. Her weapon is a Bowie Knife. From my experience, I could not get any Fatalities to work with her.
In addition to the above, I've also demonstrated the following:
1) Their names (Goro and Kitana) being highlighted in the Practice mode select screen - you normally cannot do this.
2) Playing as Goro in Practice mode. If you go into his moves list, the screen is black. Once you exit the moves list, the background will be gone. And it will be a bit messed up if the background needs to scroll vertically (such as knocking the opponent down with an uppercut).
===== Additional Information / Summary =====
---- Using 'Kitana', if you win with her she has no win pose. The body/model just freezes.
---- She does not seem to have any fatalities in this version of the game.
---- Her name can appear in the Practice mode select screen.
---- Goro's name can appear in the Practice mode select screen.
---- When playing as Goro in Practice mode, his Moves List is a black screen.
---- When playing as Goro in Practice mode, if you go into his Moves List and exit it, the background will be gone.
---- When the background is gone, the floor of the stage becomes a bit flawed when scrolling vertically.
