A playthrough of the Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance Arcade Ladder with Jax Briggs on Max Difficulty.



Beating the AI on Max difficulty is not too difficult provided you learn its patterns.
Sidestepping and blocking are important and Jax's machine gun and piston punch specials are pretty useful.
Juggling is probably one of the main ways to play as Jax.
Pop up the enemy with two standing uppercuts in the Judo style (Back + Triangle) then execute the first two hits of the groundwork combo (Circle,Circle) to take away 14% of the AI's health.
Sidestep to try to avoid damage and mix this in with grabs and the special moves above.
The AI might block a combo but sometimes they might not block a grab and it's worth it to use these opportunities when you get them.
And when the enemy has little health it's probably best just to repeat the piston punch special to deal chip damage to the enemy's health as opposed to risking a combo on their part which could cause you to lose a round.


An extremely easy way to deal with Moloch is to keep executing the piston punch (Down,Forward,Square) and then sidestep. Rinse and repeat.


Jax is an unlockable character and is not available from the start.
