Description:

Velvet was once a hunter in Aball Village, but her bro-in-law Artorius sacrificed her younger brother Laphicet in a ritual that will supposedly save the world from Daemonblight. After 3 years in an island prison, Velvet escapes to seek revenge on Artorius, even if it means embracing her newfound Daemon nature and resorting to a life of crime.

We hear about a woman, Medissa, whose daughter turned into a Daemon. Medissa killed the man who killed her daughter, so now she's been arrested. However, someone overheard that the Exorcists consider Medissa "receptive," which means she's the next Therion.

Be sure to read the book in the inn for a flashback about Artorius.
