Ms. Pac-Man (Genesis version) longplay
7Ms. Pac-Man is back...by storm. This is the port of the arcade on the Sega Genesis, released in 1991. I have this exact game on SNES in real hardware, but I picked the system's rival to see if there are any differences, but it turns out to be identical (aside sound). Regardless, the 16-bit version of Ms. Pac-Man is pitch perfect to the arcade along with extra options, making it the definitive home port. Believe it or not, instead of a kill screen, it actually has an ending, once you beat 32 levels. The first half of the video has me do a full playthrough you see in the real arcade, while the rest show the other options. The final part, which is Crazy difficulty under Strange mazes (the very hardest), is just for laughs, but it is downright nearly impossible to play without cheating with Game Genie if doing all levels, as here, the game legit goes CRAZY and moves extremely fast like F-Zero. Most of the time, 9 lives are set.
Fun fact: If you pick 2 players, Pac-Man (2P) will join his equally iconic wife at the maze together, when chosen cooperative mode.
