Namco's iconic Formula One arcade racing game is back, and this time, we have the sequel, Pole Position II, which came out in 1983. Unfortunately, the Atari 2600 doesn't have a release, but the later 7800 does. It was made in '84 (but released in 1986), and this is actually the launch title and best-selling game of the system. Arguably, this is probably its best game. It is not quite as fast-paced compared to the older 2600 game of the first Pole Position or the arcade itself, though it has the most exaggerated speed of a F1 car in any racing game I've seen.
