Pole Position II (Atari 7800)
6Namco's iconic Formula One arcade racing game is back, and this time, we have the sequel, Pole Position II, which came out in 1983. Unfortunately, the Atari 2600 doesn't have a release, but the later 7800 does. It was made in '84 (but released in 1986), and this is actually the launch title and best-selling game of the system. Arguably, this is probably its best game. It is not quite as fast-paced compared to the older 2600 game of the first Pole Position or the arcade itself, though it has the most exaggerated speed of a F1 car in any racing game I've seen.
