Okay, so, this is the first vague step towards gameplay.
I didn't actually want multiplayer, that wasn't supposed to happen, but the tutorial I was following did what I wanted (to create a framework that would allow me to do gamepad rebinds in the future) while also supporting up to an outrageous 13 controllers at once.
So, now I'm thinking about multiplayer. Maybe like a support player, who can do everything the main player can in the overworld, but when they die they're just put on time out for a while? Gotta be careful with local multi player.
