MURI is a Game in a Design, that was even before my time. The Goal is to let it look like a MS DOS Game in the style of the first Duke Nukem (2D-Platformer). Goal of the Game is to find the Exit on each level and Fight a Boss at the End of each Episode. Secondary Goal (Which can become a Primary one) is to collect as many points as possible. The higher the Difficulty is, the higher is the point multiplicator. But there is no Leaderboard, so picking the difficulty based on the Highscore seems a bit pointless. But of course you can pick a higher difficulty for a challenge,

For some reason, using my XBOX Controller did prevent the character from ducking. Which you need to do frequently. I don't know what was causing this. So i played the game with my Keyboard, which is a bit awkward to use, but okay to play with it.

Music is not really existing in this game, PC Games at that time often used the PC Speaker to squeak out tunes, but that did prevent the game from using multiple soundchannels. So you either had no music in games, or the music was stopped from playing with each soundeffect.

In this Video i'm showing two out of the four chapters. Each Chapter gets more difficult and complex from the previous one. So the game is still short, but replayable at higher difficulties.
