Cardinal Richelieu has betrayed the queen of France!
To blackmail her into giving in to his wicked will, the cardinal has had his heartless agents steal Queen Anne’s diamond studs! Heeding the desperate pleas from the queen’s maid, four brave musketeers have sworn to foil the dastardly deeds of the cardinal and retrieve the royal gems, or die trying!
Alas, disaster has struck! Three of the musketeers have been bested by the cardinal's men, and the diamonds have been hidden in secret locations around and below the streets of Paris. You must rescue the three musketeers, find the diamonds and challenge the cardinal!
You are the last of the loyal Musketeers, the only hope of Queen Anne!

Easy game (aside from figuring out the secret passage without any spoiler), too many lives and simple duel patterns.
However it's very nice, a game that pays homage to genre classics like The Goonies, Bruce Lee and Zorro.
You have to collect all the diamonds to unlock the final door that leads to the last battle against "the cardinal".
You also must rescue the three musketeers. The one held in the cave actually coul be ignored, but the remaining two in the room before the final door must be saved to access the final room itself.
I was expecting a different ending, or at least a warning like: "You didn't save all the musketeer", but nothing appears..
