Mannhattan provides a very much different format to mvm, giving players a bomb to stop and gates to defend from gatebots.
Mannhattan also doesn't have any tank paths and doesn't support teleporter engineers. (It supports sentry battle though)

Mannhattan waves tend to be much longer than those of other maps due to needing time for gatebots to push towards the gates and cap them while the bomb traverses a long path.
