2This game reminds me a lot of the book Moby Dick. Both are hailed as classics, and I can see why in some aspects. For both though, there is so much dedication that I am not willing to put in and aggravation that I can't experience either for long periods of time. I can put up with having to draw a map, I can deal with the password system. What I can't deal with is the lack of being able to fill up you Health or Ammo, and just how easy it is to take damage. Often times a health pickup is 5 EN, and the enemy you get the health from takes 10 EN away. Not to mention enemies that can hit you through doors when you are defenseless. I want to like this game, but it feels like when I start liking it, the game does something for me to hate it. Kid Icarus could be aggravating, but I feel like it let's up. Here not so much.
