My Journey Through The Golden Age Of Video Games Part 3
With no travel for me in my job during lockdown I decided to put my mind to work creating a trilogy of videos documenting my journey through the golden age of video games.
This series of videos is mostly made up of news articles, coming soon features and reviews from magazines such as Computer and Video Games (CVG) and also from memories or moments in my life as I grew up with video games.
The golden age of video games is often something that is debated…………. When was the golden age exactly…………………..And what games are from that era.
I crafted my memories and experience of what my golden age of video games was like in an effort to show just how far video games have progressed in such a short space of time, from the humble beginnings of the 8-bit home computers like the Commodore 64 and Spectrum to the latest consoles such as the PS5.
So grab your passport to the past and join me as I recollect some random access memories of my journey through the Golden Age of Video Games.
PART 3 The PlayStation Years
The late 90`s onward gave way to one brand…………… PlayStation. I conclude my trilogy of videos with the most successful console brand of all time and list some casualties along the way.
I try and figure out what happened to my love affair with video games and why I was so suddenly disenfranchised with the whole scene.
