In this more personal video, I discuss one of the phases I went through back as a student -- a period of years during which I focused heavily on Jean-Paul Sartre's philosophy and attempted to apply it within the context of my own life, relationships, choices, and perspective on the world.

I discuss what attracted me to Sartre's perspective, what I understood about it at the time, and why I eventually moved out of my Sartreian phase.
