In this talk, I present parts of my paper for the 7th International Society for MacIntyrian Enquiry, which fits Anselm of Canterbury into Alasdair MacIntyre's narrative of traditions and moral enquiry, specifically into his account of medieval thought.
I argue that there is considerably more to the story of Anselm's contributions and influence than MacIntyre's accounts would indicate, and attempt to outline what some of those contributions are.
