The rebuilding of a patrol base in Helmand Province will mean important progress against the Taliban. Checkpoint Katina in Nad-e Ali has been home to a small number of troops from The Royal Irish Regiment since September. Now a make over by Royal Engineers means it can now expand. Fiona Weir has been to Afghanistan to report on what has been a dangerous and sometimes life threatening project.
