The players must use four buttons (yellow for 1P and red for 2P) to identify all songs which are being heard from the game's six CEM-3394 soundchip.
Unlike with other quiz games, the difficulty does not depend on the player's general knowledge, but on their musical knowledge from the time.

The has three rounds, in the starting round topics are picked at random, then the music plays releated to that topic. Players have 9 second to respond, when they get three anwers right they will access the second round.
In "bid a note" players need to bid notes to understand the song played by the piano, lower is the bid higher are the point, players also receive a general clue about the song.

If players score 18000k points or more they will access the third and last round "Golden Melody". Player need to guess correctly 5 song to win, if they do single mistake the round is over. Players can also skip the song if they find to hard to answer.
