The weekend's events to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic are under way in Liverpool.

Seven warships sailed up the Mersey early this morning, berthing at Albert dock where they'll be open to the public.

They included HMS Bulwark and five Royal Navy patrol ships.
