Need for Speed III Hot Pursuit - Playstation Review
In 1998, a Need for Speed title was released that took racing games to a whole other level for me. It combined arcade racing, tons of options, and multiplayer from the gods. Here is my review.

Episode Notes:
1. Playstation version on real hardware.
2. PC version is original game with updated patch for 1080p and widescreen.
3. The mainline Need for Speed games would stay Playstation console exclusive for years. It wouldn't be until the Xbox and Gamecube that they would branch out.
4. I often wonder if the Saturn could have done this. The first game looked great on the Saturn, but all that extra lighting might have been too much.
5. 2005's Need for Speed Most Wanted is another favorites of mine for many of the same reasons.
6. I still own my original PC version.
7. I own the rare Collectors Edition of the PS1 game.
8. I'd love to see this game get reissued for modern machines.
