Neurostasis (layout)
217Sometime before finishing my Amazing Hit Solo decay, I started searching for songs to use in my next big project and my buddy Xuser in the IDL discord told me to check out this song. He had already used this song in a layout so I was a bit hesitant to use it, but luckily for me, he didn’t use the part of the song I wanted to use. After 8 months (damn...) the layout is finally finished and I am incredibly proud of it. My main goal with this level is to focus on a sense of progression because I haven’t really done much of it in my previous work, and I’d say this layout sets me up really well to do that.
I know the gameplay in the 4x speed ship looks extremely intimidating but I'll make sure that it's consistent, fun, and bug-free by the end so don't worry; this level will be good.
