For years now there have been lots of companies moving towards this new subscription based content, not only in the gaming industry, but in the widespread online world.

Subscription services like microsofts game pass offering day one access to brand new games benefits everyone with an xbox console and something Sony has not even come close to offering yet.

Game Pass has to be one of the best bang for your buck console services out there & there is no denying that. The argument from people saying who cares about having day 1 access to games when microsoft doesn't really have any good exclusives and PS Plus or PS Now is better because you get sony exclusives, is an argument that makes no sense at all. First is PS Now does not give you brand new games & 2nd PS Plus only has a few games sony hand picks to give to people for the PS5 and PS4 console & eventually that will once again dwindle down to a couple of hand picked games when the PS4 starts dying out.

With all of that said, here is everything we know about project spartacus, but before we move on as always if your new to the channel dont forget to subscribe and leaving a like is always appreciated if you enjoy.

Spartacus is going to be somewhat similar to Xbox Game Pass, but honestly they are very different and those differences will be clear as we continue on.

Sony merging PS Now and PS Plus isnt all this will be, there is going to be multiple tiers that will end up offering different features for you to select. The top tier of this new subscription is expected to give all of us access to demos of games from the rediculously massive library of games from the PS4 and PS5 to try before we buy.

But not only that, this top tier is also suppose to give us access to the even more massive library of games from the PS1 all the way to the PS5 that have been released over all of these years. Now whether these will be something we need to buy, Something offered to us in a similar nature to PS Plus where those older games are given monthly, if it will just be a collection like the PS Plus collection on PS5, nobody knows, but as long as its a catalog of some good games to bring back nostalgia for those that grew up with them, I think its a safe bet it will be great.

The release date is suppose to be revealed this week & could even possibly release this week after its reveal, but sony has not said anything about that, its just a rumor so do take that with a grain of salt.

As far as the price of this, we have to do a little speculating here. Given that this service is going to be in competition with lots of services on PC & Microsofts Game Pass, I cant see this being more than the $15 per month, or $180 per year that Game Pass cost.
Which may sound like a lot, but that is 12 months of brand new games being added every month with a massive catalog of other games you can download at any time you want. So yes $180 sounds like a lot, but its $0.50 a day. Which if you take a new $70 game, that is 4 months of that $70 game you bought, which is the only game you will have to play & why I say game pass is such a good value, there isnt just a massive library of games, there are new games being added all of the time and lots of them, not just a measily 1 or 2 games.

So there are lots of other rumors and leaks floating around, but I dont find them to be very accurate in any shape or form. So I dont want to cover any of that, this video was dedicated to the stuff that I find to be pretty accurate coming from inside sources and very credible sources.
