Sometimes talking about the bad things is better than just talking about the good. It helps companies take feedback on those bad or negative things and turn them around into something good.

So here are the crappy things about Playstations new Game Pass subscription and what Sony needs to do in order for it to actually compete with XBOX's gamepass.

First is having the ability to access it on PC. I understand that playstation fans are loyal to the point that they treat anything not playstation like a turd waiting to be flushed down the toilet, but for the playstation fans that have human courtesy, you can see there is a huge percentage of PC Players out there, which would love to play some of these playstation games on PC. Clearly XBOX doing this with game pass is a big reason it is so successful, if the numbers with playstation is 2 or 3 times more than xbox and xbox game pass is beating sonys ps plus and ps now, then those people on PC which does include myself, are making up for the shortage of people not buying an xbox.

Which leads into the next thing, this needs to be a subscription of its own, not a subscription that requires you to own a playstation console. Having a playstation account obviously needs to be required, but like microsoft has done with xbox game pass, they need to offer this as a purchase through either the playstation website, a playstation app on pc, through steam, etc. some way to download the app and access titles on PC.
Of course not every single playstation exclusive will be brought to PC, which is expected, just like game pass has some differences between pc and console. There are both hardware limitations and agreements with game developers that are there, so its understandbale why some games wont be able to be played.

And before we move on as always if your new to the channel dont forget to subscribe and leaving a like is always appreciated if you enjoy.

The 3rd reason this new subscription could suck is having it be a cash grab, something that has been a big problem with the gaming industry in general, if games are costing more to make the price of the games just need to go up, we shouldnt be paying $60 or $70 for a game and then paying $50 more to enjoy it to its fullest because of microtransactions or being forced to buy 5 or more DLC's adding up to $100's.
Anyways thats not about sony, the subscription cash grab is a general term that I imagine a lot of you are aware of, its a way to hike the price of something with very little in return.

Do keep in mind this video was dedicated to the negative stuff, of course I am very excited for this and I think its going to be amazing, backwards compatibility and me being able to replay the PS1, PS2 and PS3 games is a huge feature to me on a personal level being a gamer that loves playing games that bring back memories gaming as a kid.
Being able to play demos of games before buying them is another big deal, discounts on games, etc.

There are lots of great things to look forward to with this, which we will have a dedicated video on, this was the bad stuff that could happen.
