5Mikhail practically lived in the hospital during his senior years-
During his time in high school, Mikhail didn't talk to anyone. He felt deathly afraid of talking to the other students, so naturally he became the spotlight. The others thought he was weird, and slowly people began to dig into his information and start rumors.
He couldn't be with on the school's area without someone threatening or insulting him, some even brought weapons like metal bats and used them to beat him up.
Down each hallway someone would be whispering or spreading rumors. One time, a rumor about him being a cannibal was started. Even though it was false, it was probably the worst 2 weeks he ever had.
He didn't even want to go to school, but with everything he had going on at home, he didn't even have the strength to stand up for himself.
Day in and day out he would be treated like an actual animal, if he wasn't stuck at home witty broken limbs and the permanently blind eye he has. His mother would try to communicate with the school, but they claimed that none of it had ever happened.
Eventually he got sick of it and tried to stand up for himself. It resulted in him getting a dog muzzle locked onto him, and he gave up.
Nobody would help him except for his mother, who couldn't do much. He was homeschooled after that, and his mother refused to let him leave without her.
I think I have issues with giving all of my characters very traumatic backgrounds-
