NEW UPDATE!! 4.5 Special Program, New Banner System, Rerun Banners & Weapon pack - Genshin Impact
1,272Version 4.5 update will be released on March 13, we are just 15 days away from that. But before that hoyoverse will conduct a special program, where they will showcase everything version 4.5 will have to offer. And the special program will be broadcast on march 1st, which is just 3 days away.
Although hoyoverse hasn't announced it officially, we can easily predict this because the special program is always scheduled 12 days before the actual update release date, usually on Fridays. So you can expect hoyo to announce the dates tomorrow or on 28th. We will also be streaming the 4.5 special program, so make sure join us.
They will also drop three new redemption codes during the special program that can be used to obtain 300 primogems. They expire after 16 hours i guess, so make sure to redeem them as soon as possible. I will post the codes in the community, on Twitter & discord, so don't worry if you think would miss the Livestream.
Moving on to our new character, 4.5 will release only one new playable character, who is Chiori. Chiori is a Geo Sword character and she is a 5-star unit. So we will get to see her gameplay during the special Livestream. Hoyoverse will release two new weapons, One of them is a 5-star Sword called Uraku Misugiri, which is Chiori's signature weapon. It has a huge CRIT Damage second stat and provides Normal Attack and Elemental Skill Damage bonuses. Meanwhile the other is a 4-star Polearm called Dialogues of the Desert Sages. This 4 star weapon will be available for free, and you can obtain it from the main event of 4.5.
Moving on to the 4.5 banners, Chiori and Arataki Itto will get their banners in the first phase. And as for the 4 star units, gorou, yunjin & xingqiu will likely appear on their banners.
The second half banners are most interesting, as Kazuha & Neuvillette are expected to get their rerun banners in phase two of 4.5. Additionally, it is believed that there will be some major changes to the banners in 4.5.
According to many leakers in the genshin community, Albedo will also be in the upcoming patch, but, he will get a separate banner. They have said that Hoyoverse will add a new type of banner that will only feature characters from Mondstadt, like albedo, eula and klee. And not only characters, this new banner will also feature some 5 star weapons, most likely the signature weapons of the featured characters.
There's one more rumor we need to address, and that is the weapon selector pack. And no, this will not be free. This will be paid pack, and will feature standard banner weapons. The cost of this pack is unknown at the moment, we don't even know whether they will implement it in 4.5 or in the future. So, there's one more thing to look forward to.
According to info from the beta, we will also get a new Hangout Event with Lynette, and a new Story Quest for Chiori in version 4.5. Moving on to the events. According to data from Genshin Intel, 4.5 will have four events, one of them will the main event in mondstadt, and the other three will be the small events. And if you're wondering why i didn't mention the dainsleif quest, it's because there's no dainsleif quest in 4.5.
He will now appear in version 4.6. Since there's no new map or area in 4.5, we won't be getting many primogems either, so you should save your primogems accordingly. You can expect to get 50 to 55 wishes in 4.5, if you're a free to play player.
