330Many people were requesting a video on clorinde, and to be honest, i was also planning to make one. Before we start I want to say something real quick, I don't ignore your DMs & comments, I do read them, but i can't reply to each & every person. Those who are on discord, know that i don't do it on purpose. So I'm sorry for that, and I'm also grateful for all the love and support you guys have shown so far, especially in the past few months. Moving on to clorinde.
The genshin community has received some fresh update about Clorinde and her kit. Clorinde has been confirmed to be an Electro unit from her appearance in the archon quest. Her weapon of choice is also confirmed, and she will be a sword user.
Clorinde was rumored to be a DPS unit, capable of providing energy regeneration, but now it seems that she will likely be an off field dps or support unit. According to uncle K, her abilities are Afk based, which clearly indicates that she's is an off field unit. So you can expect her elemental skill to be something like Nahida's or Raiden or even furina.
Another reliable source called PTL, have already hinted that Clorinde is an off-field DPS, and she is an off-field Electro applier, who would perform well in Overload teams. Many future characters from Natlan are rumored to be great additions to this team archetype, making Clorinde even stronger. Overall, Clorinde and Chevreuse kit would make Overload teams extremely powerful in future meta.
They also hinted at two new Artifact sets in version 4.6, which will support Overload and Electro-charged reactions. Sigewinne who's another future playable character, is a hydro 5 star character, and she is expected to be one of the best support units for clorinde & Arlecchino.
According to hutaolover, Sigewinne will also be released alongside clorinde in version 4.7, and yes, as of now, she is a five star character. As much as i want clorinde to be an on field DPS character, i think hoyoverse will disappoint us, at least I'm hoping they don't ruin her kit. Well i personally love clorinde, and I will pull for her regardless whether she's an on field dps or not.
