NEW UPDATE!! 4.6 BANNERS, NEW AREA, ARTIFACT SETS, WEEKLY BOSS, STORY QUESTS & More - Genshin Impact
2,328In this video, we're going to discuss everything we know so far about version 4.6. From new character release, new area, rerun banners, events, story quests, new weekly boss, new artifacts sets, there will be something for everyone.
Starting with the new characters. Two new characters Arlecchino & the mummy girl from sumeru are expected to debut in 4.6, And you can expect their drip marketing on march 12th. I've already made 3-4 videos about arlecchino, so i don't need to talk about her much, but mummy girl is still a mystery. We don't even know her name, and i don't think she has been mentioned in the game either. So unfortunately, we don't have anything on her other than her concept art.
However, she's expected to be released in the upcoming 4.6 update. Cyno is rumored to receive his second story quest in 4.6, and the mummy girl is expected to appear during that quest. But the 4.6 beta hasn't even started yet, so we don't know if it's 100% reliable or not.
Moving on to the new area. Version 4.6 is rumored to bring a new zone in southern Fontaine with Petrichor and the underwater ruins of Remuria. This new area will fill the central gap that divides Fontaine, Sumeru, and Liyue. It will feature the port town of Petrichor, a location that has been teased since Inazuma in Version 2.0.
However the iconic waterfall where Petrichor rests is also rumored to lead to the underwater ruins of Remuria. Though it remains to be seen if Remuria will be similar to the Chasm or Enkanomiya. It's important to note that the new area will not fill the gap completely on the world map, and will instead leave the northern shores of Sumeru for a future update.
Next up we have some information about the banners. Arlecchino will surely get her banner in 4.6 alongwith her story quest, but, i think she will get it in phase two. And I'm saying this because of two reasons, first, in version 3.6, baizhu, who was the new 5 star character in that patch, got his banner in the second phase. Second, arlecchino will become a weekly boss in phase one of 4.6, so her chance of getting a banner in the first phase is very low.
About the rerun banners, furina, cyno and alhaitham are expected to appear on the banners. Other than them lyney & wriothesley are the two characters, who i think can also appear since they haven't gotten their reruns yet. And we will talk about the regional banners in some other video.
About the main event, there are rumors that 4.6 will celebrate a festival in sumeru. We still don't know which festival it would be, so you'll have to wait another week for more information about that. And lastly the artifacts sets. 4.6 will also introduce two new artifacts sets, one for arlecchino, and the other for dendro characters.
According to a leaker named Flair, the 2-pc set provides an Elemental Mastery bonus, likely similar to the Wanderer's Troupe and Gilded Dreams sets.Moreover, the 4-pc set increases the entire team's Elemental Mastery after the Burning reaction is triggered. Hitting an enemy with a Burning aura further increases the party's EM. This effect can be triggered even when the equipping character is off-field.It is worth adding that Uncle K claims they are not entirely sure about the specifics of the new Dendro set shared by Flair. However, the Burning reaction and EM buffs on the artifact match the description available to them.
