NEW UPDATE!! ARLECCHINO KIT & WEAPON, NEW AREA, NEW ARTIFACTS, EMILIE INFO & More - Genshin Impact
1,833We received a ton of new information about version 4.6 and the future updates from reliable sources in the past two days. From new area to new characters, we have received quite a lot of information. So let's discuss them one by one.
⏺NEW AREA IN 4.6
Fontaine will get another map expansion in version 4.6, and this area is located in the giant hole in the current in-game map, formed between Sumeru, Fontaine, and Liyue.
⏺NEW WEEKLY BOSS IN 4.6
We are getting another weekly boss in 4.6, and that weekly boss will be located in the area. It's rumored that Arlecchino will be the new weekly boss, and it makes sense since all of the fatui's that have been introduced so far in the game, are weekly bosses, except Dottore of course. This area will not completely fill the hole on the map, because some locations are supposedly the remains of the battle of Khaenri'ah. This means that even after the new area is released, there will still be some inaccessible spots on the map
At any rate, based on the information currently available, the new area is expected to be Bayda Harbor in Sumeru and another location related to Khaenri'ah. However, there isn't much info about the places themselves. Now we all know that cyno is expected to get the second part of his story quest, so a new Sumeru area in version 4.6 seems plausible.
⏺NEW CHARACTERS IN 4.6 (Arlecchino & Emilie in 4.8)
We all know that arlecchino is going to be the next playable character in 4.6, clorinde and sigewinne in 4.7, and now it's almost confirmed that emilie will be the new playable character in 4.8.
⏺NEW ARTIFACTS IN 4.6
Version 4.6 will add two new artifact sets. One is a dedicated set for Arlecchino, and the other set is a Dendro set speculated to be for Emilie, and this set is made for burning reactions.
Upon using this set, triggering a burning reaction buffs elemental mastery of the entire team. And hitting an enemy in burning state buffs your own EM, and it can be activated while the character is off field. The dendro set has emlemental mastery stats, so there's a chance that emilie would also scale on elemental mastery.
⏺ ARLECCHINO KIT & WEAPON
Moving on to new arlecchino kit information. I will say this again, she is a five star pyro character, and she will be polearm user. According to new information, Arlecchino scales on Attack. Meaning that the artifact set we just talked about for arlecchino, will probably have attack bonuses as well. And to be more precise, she would be more reliant on her normal & charged attacks, and not on her elemental burst.
We have also received new information about her signature weapon. According to uncle K, the appearance of her weapon is dark red. It has been rumored for a long time that arlecchino would use scythe, but it's still not confirmed, so we will have to wait for two more weeks to know that for sure.
The trigger of the weapon's status amplification effect is similar to wriothesley's signature weapon. But it's still not confirmed whether it is related to HP or not. My guesses are that her signature weapon will have crit rate or crit damage main stat, and attack bonuses as sub stat.
