Moving on, reliable information about version 4.6 have started to come out, and we have quite a lot of information, but we will only go through the potential banners. Starting with the arlecchino. She will be released in the upcoming 4.6 update as the latest playable character, and you can expect her drip marketing on march 11th. Other than her, there's only one 4 star character who might be released in 4.6, and that is the mummy girl from sumeru.
Logically Arlecchino should get her banner in the first half as she will be the new character, but, there's a chance that she could also appear in phase two. You see, in sumeru during 3.6, baizhu was the new playable character, so he was supposed to get his banner in phase 1, but he got it in phase 2 instead. Maybe it was because he had no role in nahida's second story quest. But this time around it's nothing like that.
In version 4.6, someone is getting the second part of their stort quest, it could be furina, or everything will be related to daineif & traveler this time. Since furina is completely human now, I can't imagine her beating arlecchino, who will be introduced as the new weekly boss in 4.6. That's why I'm thinking dainsleif will do the job this time.
Either way arlecchino will be released in 4.6, and I'm hoping she would appear in the first half. And that also means arlecchino will get the first part of her story quest. Other than arlecchino, cyno is also expected to get the second part of his story quest. And so, he might also appear on the banners. Before you say anything, i know that he recently got his rerun in 4.2, but yes, he might appear again. And this is nothing new, same thing has happened in the past with yoimiya.
Yoimiya was released in 2.0, got her first rerun in 2.8, and then appeared again after 2 patches in 3.2. After that she got her rerun in 3.7, and then recently in 4.3. So cyno is all set to become yoimiya 2.0. And during his 2nd story quest, the mummy girl is also expected to appear. There's not much information available about her, she hasn't been mentioned in the game either as far as i remember. Let me know if I'm wrong.
But if you ask me, i think cyno will appear on the third rumored banner, if it is true of course. Because alhaitham is also expected to appear in 4.6, and he's only rerunned once since his first release in version 3.4. That's why i think cyno should be on the third banner, and alhaitham on the first two limited banners. You see, version 4.6 will host a sumeru special festival, and alhaitham has a major plot in the event. So sumeru characters should appear on the third rumored banner.
Moving on, lyney will finally get his first rerun in 4.6. He was expected to get it in 4.5, but it seems he won't. Although the officials have not announced the 4.5 banners, several other reliable sources with good track record have said that he's not coming in 4.5.
Anyway if you're planning to pull for him, then start saving your primogems. Other than lyney, fuina will also appear in the 4.6 banners. Furina is also expected to get her second story quest, but it's not confirmed yet, and we will have to wait for 2 more weeks to say for sure.
