0Today's the release day for the Super Mario RPG remake on the Switch! It's not the only remake we're getting, but that one won't be here until 2024. For now, it's time for today's gamers to experience this predecessor to the Paper Mario series!
And to celebrate, why not face the one character from this game that has been demanded for Smash for years? Of course, I'm talking about Geno! This version of him is edited by Superteletubbies64, but I honestly didn't know his AI could be adjusted in the cns file, so this fight will be at his default level of 6. The same will be for Mallow, which I'll face as well, but he's at 7.
Even so, Geno can be relentless with his attacks and usually either uses his Geno Beam or increases his stats. Since he's at Level 6, I'm not sure if he'll use Geno Whirl. Particularly, the chance to OHKO opponents like it can in Super Mario RPG. Regardless, despite some trouble, not too bad for Linne. However, I'll probably want to set his and Mallow's levels higher for the future.
