NICK54222 MUGEN: Sakuya Izayoi (me) VS Galactus
7Today's the day folks! Today is the Season 10 Finale of Death Battle! And it's Galactus VS Unicron, the #1 Most Requested Matchup in Death Battle History! It's been a long time coming, but now's the time it finally happens! I thought this would be the Season 8 Finale as that was the 10th Anniversary Season, but Saitama VS Popeye was a fine finale nonetheless. Anyways, because of the Death Battle, I thought I'd take on the former in MUGEN.
There are a few Galactus characters, but the one we're facing is an edit of Apocalypse. Despite this, he's got his own tactics. These range from strikers such as Silver Surfer, Terrax, and Nova to Eye Beams and the Power Cosmic Hand Beam. He's also got a Grab and Slam, but his Ground Pound doesn't seem to be working right now. However, while his weak spot is the head and arm like Apocalypse, the aforementioned Nova striker attacks from behind, so it's a counter to back attacks unlike with Apocalypse.
And while this character may be a high division on SpriteClub, it's because typical characters aren't meant to face boss fighters like Galactus or Apocalypse. It can still be a challenge if you're not careful though. The best strategy is to get close to him and attack his head from behind, but beware of the Nova Striker. And honestly, Nep Heart characters DEMOLISH this boss. So I went with Sakuya instead just to make it a bit more challenging. But not as much. I'm aware Meep140 did an edit of him, but I'm facing the original one.
