NieR: Automata - Part 7 - Fighting Adam and Eve
0I explore around a little trying to find the AWOL YoRHa units. After having no success on that front I decide to hop into the crater in the middle of the city in hopes of confronting the alien menace. That is where 2B and 9S confront the human-shaped Machines from before. They introduce themselves as Adam and Eve. They reveal the change in Machine behavior as well as the fate of their creators. After barely holding them off they disappear leaving 2B and 9S with the vow to dissect the Humans residing on the Moon. We confront Pascal to see if she might know anything about the information that Adam and Eve had informed us about. She doesn't but she points up to a machine that might hold the answers we seek. Also, a familiar face from the previous NieR game appears.
