2Ninja Gaiden Black is a standalone director's cut of the original 2004 and is considered by many THE definitive best version of the game. So many changes and additions were added, including the infamous Master Ninja difficulty that will push you to your gaming limits and a more care-free Ninja Dog easy mode that will hilariously have characters ridicule you during your adventure. Raising the difficulty will additionally change the enemies, bosses, and item locations, making each playthrough feel like a completely different experience. Also, there's new weapons, cutscenes, costumes, and a mission mode giving you tough short level scenarios. The camera has been improved as well, allowing the option to rotate using the right stick. Gameplay and balance changes include Ryu being able to charge his ultimate technique to higher levels without any essence. I'm super excited to grind through all the difficulties and content and I'm still be blown away by how much this game holds up to this day. This is Part 2 of our playthrough.
