Ninja Gaiden! Wow, Just So Many Traps (Master System)
Well, at least Ninja Gaiden for the Sega Master System had a little more power to work with compared to the dreaded Game Gear version lol. It still doesn't quite feel like the original NES versions; you move and jump across the screen with massive speed, and your very floaty in the air. The cutscenes are nothing memorable with very simple dialogue and story. The game is quite difficult, though, with a lot of platforming and many hazards. Some familiar Ninpo, such as the fire wheel and shuriken, show up. You can also clear the screen with a powerful super attack, but it costs health. The wall jumping was actually kind of cool in this game, where you have to plan it out to reach certain points, and the ledge hanging is used a lot too. I'm glad we got to at least see all the ports of this series to compare them.
