Hey look! The bosses are different!

This was slightly more challenging than I expected it to be. While the game is more or less the same with a few enemies in different colors and faster, you have to pay more attention to your surroundings as it makes the difference between a run being smooth or a complete pain. Especially for me since i decided to use one of the talismans that gives a negative effect, which i chose the one that removes healing orbs from stages and to counter that i used a talisman that heals me the more kills i get, which makes the stages more engaging a reward chaining kills a feeling cool while doing it.

That's one thing I liked about this mode, it makes chaining kills more fun. However it can become a pain if youre trying to get A ranks or higher since skill is a factor here, especially on later stages with a lot of ranged enemies.

Compared to the other 'hard modes' The Game Kitchen has done, I feel like this goes somewhere in the middle between Blasphemous and Blasphemous 2.

Also this video includes the final final stage exclusive to this mode, which is Endless Struggle, a boss rush against the main four demon bosses thats one of the most challenging stages in the game. You chose either of the playable character to exit Hell, and that dictates how you approach the bosses. For this video I chose Kumori since it makes the stage easier with her ranged attacks. Somewhere down the line ill do it with Kenji. One more thing is that the ending here is the same for either character.

Speaking of bosses, I felt like the bosses here were an improvement over their normal mode counterparts and some were enjoyable to fight against.

My thoughts on the game are still unchanged after this playthrough, but what I can say is that the hard mode made the game more fun to play despite how frustrating it can be at times.

Hoping they keep supporting the game and add more stuff.
