Ninja Gaiden! They Turned Ryu Hayabusa Into Strider (Game Gear)
1We've had a really good journey going through the Ninja Gaiden series so far, but we finally reached the point of some strange ones. The Game Gear port of this game feels so oddly different, where Ryu attacks super quick and far, similar to the Strider series. You also moon jump so the crisp controls kind of goes out the window. Your sprite is so huge, and the screen is obviously small, so enemies just appear quickly at the edge of the screen and drop down on you, which is kind of lazy. The Ninpo is weird; you use boomerangs and projectiles. It's just not a Ninja Gaiden game lol, and it lacks the quality the series is known for.
