I've always wanted to play this since I first saw it in gaming magazines. Parasite Eve is the first M-rated game from SquareSoft, which features a unique cinematic RPG experience with modern weapons. You play as Aya Brea, a New York cop who has to stop a mysterious woman named Eve, who has the devastating ability to spontaneous combust humans through their mitochondria. Its story is a continuation of the movie and has a ton of science mumbo jumbo. The gameplay is so sick; it's turn-based combat with a twist of being able to dodge attacks mid-turn and endless equipment customization. Parasite has so many awesome ideas, cool characters and an amazing soundtrack too. I was instantly hooked and plan to go through the entire series soon. I immediately did a second playthrough featuring a super dungeon in EX Game mode. You fight your way through many floors of the Chrysler building which contains the best weapons and hardest bosses in the game. It also reveals the true ending if you can complete it. This is Part 1 of our playthrough.
