Playthrough | Part 2: Explore the Totomi Province
With the main mission done, it's time for the bread and butter of Nioh 3: Explore the Totomi Province.
Unlike Nioh 1 & 2 where you can basically do any mission you like, Nioh 3 focuses on you exploring. This legit feels like an open world and it's here you can do whatever you want. But the same rules still apply. Get beat, you die, and you start again at the last place you saved. Not only that but this is where you can take the opportunity to complete sub missions. They can range from capturing enemy bases by defeating enemies, finding Kodamas or taking down some optional bosses. There are also these Citadels where you face off against demons. You'll need to be at your best if you want to succeed. Beating them will boost the strength of your Guardian Spirits.
Not only that but doing all this will raise the level of the province. Leveling them up will provide additional benefits for your character such as increased stats. It's recommended that you explore every nook and cranny that this game has to offer. You'll need it.
Part 3 is the conclusion. We're taking on a Citadel and it's not a pretty one.
