Nitro Kid is a Tactical Roguelite Board/Card Game. You start your journey with a set of basic cards. Clearing a room, finishing some events or visiting the shops get you new cards and also new abilities with it. Some cards go pretty well together with some other cards and some doesn't, but they fit with other cards pretty well. So with a little luck, you can get a certain build. If it's good or bad is also a little random, since some builds are better with certain bosses and some are not so great.
Typical to roguelike games, you have your healthpool and clearing a room doesn't replenish your health, except you have a ability for that.

This is a easy to learn but hard to master type of game. The Card rules are pretty simple to grasp, but you need the knowledge to find out what fits well together and what don't. And even if you got the knowledge, not every run is the same, since it's also luck involved in what you can pick from.

Despite the simple look of the game, there is quite the depth to it. The only problem the game got it the price. Most people look at the screenshots and think, yeah that looks neat, but not like the price it is offered. I still bought it at full price and have absolute no regret.
