Full Void is a throwback to Games like the first Prince of Persia, Another World or Black Thorne. But without that shooting or battling part.

For those who don't know these Games, this means, that the Characters always move in a grid, which means that you still can freely walk without a pause in between walking these cells, but if you hit jump, you will always jump from a cell on this grid, not in between them.
The length of the jumps is also fix, so there is no back steering.
This makes it feel all a little sluggish, but also extremely precise.

Like in another world, if you fail certain points, a small cutscene plays and show how you character died. This will happen a lot, specially if you're new to the game and face new dangers. But the Game got a lot of checkpoints (which are also autosaves). So dying doesn't have much of a negative impact on your gameplay and since it also autosaves constantly, you can easily start and exit the game, if you don't have that much time to play.
