Sprawl is a Big Pixels - Stylish - First Person Shooter. Where you can pull off some Matrix moves, by running on walls and jumping between them, slowing down the action, to shoot the enemies at their weakpoints with more accuracy.

When i first started the Game, i felt like i started it in Software Mode, instead of 3dfx Mode. But the textures meant to be blocky. If you like you increase the blocky sight even more, by decreasing the resolution, which keeps the resolution, but pixelates everything, as if you're playing a old PS1 Game.
I later deactivated that function, since it makes it harder to hit enemies further away.

The music is a mix between chanting and Jungle Beats, depending if you're in action or not.
So all things considered, the game targets a older audience, that want to reexperience shooters at that time, even though it uses more modern mechanics, that you saw in games like Max Payne and Mirrors Edge.

The game is more shooter than parkour evasion, so you're right on the action. It wears the Boomershooter "Tag" in their own Intro Video, but i don't think that tag fits. Not with the modern moveset and platforming. I don't see this as a bad thing, since it combines good traits from that era, while staying modern.
