(No Commentary) Live A Live SNES Playthrough Part 47: Your Intelligence Grows
QUESTIONS ABOUT THE GAME WILL BE ANSWERED IN VIDEO DESCRIPTIONS
"JESUS WHAT'S THAT SNAKE THING?!"
Ahhh yes, this is Ishtar, the most troublesome of enemies in this world and essentially a roaming midboss that one can meet repeatedly. If you have the best team, and the strongest skills, it's not bad.
It's just...very annoying and very strong with a lot of HP, but I find a way to deal with Ishtar is using Pogo's Dodegesden (which is a randomiser for damage so use caution), as well as Oboro's Shadow Mirror which is AMAZING and can petrify/instakill her.
"MAN MASARU REALLY DOES LOOK WEAK!"
He is initially but he can level up fast enough to get strong, plus I like having his Tsuda around for any strong enemies. Plus he has a lot of health to keep him moving for a long time.
Normally I would level him up in order to learn all his moves, but I already obtained all of them during his chapter so...yeah.
"WOAH WHAT'S THIS CHESSBOARD-LOOKING PLACE?"
This is the Dungeon of Intelligence, for Cube. There are no monsters in here, and it is entirely cerebral.
The first room relies on you switching your sense of directions and working with reversed controls. The second room deals with following commands and observing the right path. Remember, if your reflection is looking at you, you go forwards.
The third room deals with going back and forth to where the arrows want you to go. The fourth and final room is a riddle involving time.
Cube's intelligence actually does clue you in that you need to think on time itself, that is you must go around the room clockwise to reach the exit. ...I feel ashamed that it took me a while to get that.
Solving this will obtain you Cube's only weapon, the 17 Diode.
