(No Commentary) Live-A-Live SNES Playthrough Part 44: Our Warriors Unite
QUESTIONS ABOUT THE GAME WILL BE ANSWERED IN VIDEO DESCRIPTIONS
"SO WE GOT A KUNG FU GUY AND A ROBOT TOO!"
Yes, and we are gonna get all of the characters in this chapter. Most of the heroes you can recruit right away, but some require a bit more cooperation.
- Pogo can be found in the Naorigusa forest down south and will always fight us unless we're playing Li Kuugo, because he loves the ladies.
- The Xin Shan Quan Inheritor can be found at Hash's grave. If it's Yuan Jou, he joins you without any hassle. If it's Li Kuugo, she fights you before joining. If it's Sammo, you have to feed him, and it's really annoying to find food here.
- Oboro can be found by checking the signpost in front of the Forbidden Land. He will always fight you and he is a BITCH if he has Bronze Leaf so stay away from his direct areas. If you have him as your lead however, you run twice as fast.
- Sundown is the hardest guy to recruit, and he has to be found at seven different places all over the fucking map. This also applies if you wanna recruit him again after having someone leave your part. This is why I picked him.
- Masaru is in the castle dungeon and will fight you unless you are Cube or Sundown. Guess he likes cowboys!
- Akira is in front of Uranus' house sleeping. If you choose "Yes" to his first question, you fight him. You can just say "No" and then he'll ask to join ya.
- Cube can be found at the top of the castle, but he has to be activated by finding his battery which has flown off over the mountain near Hash's house.
Interestingly, depending on who you play as the lead, the item has a different description of either "???", "Iron Box", "Odd Part", or "Battery".
"SO WAIT, ALL OF US CAN LEVEL UP NOW?!"
All except Cube, who CAN level up in his own way. Remember how robots worked in Akira's chapter? Well, now you see why I kept those parts off of Taro before the final boss, to give them to Cube.
You can also get Power Parts from enemies to give Cube more health, by fighting the minions before the main guy at the back.
