No Guy's Sky (No man's sky in Doom)
5,709I have spent the last 3 weeks trying to replicate No Man's Sky (or at least, what I saw of it in the trailer anyway) in Doom.

Took about 3 weeks - I had most of it down after the 3 days, but feature creep took over. There is more that could be added, and due to the flipbook style randomisation on the creatures, each addition makes exponentially more creatures and possible planets, but I didn't want to spend too long on this before releasing. You can mod it to put in your own faces etc if anyone wants to do that.
There is probably lots that doesn't match up to the game, but I've yet to get round to playing it, so just went with what I saw in the trailer.
This needs the actual doom2.wad this time - Its not going to work with the freedoom one as the creature sprites have changed. Any questions, please ask away
