Barbot3 and Poshbot introduction
18Test of the two drinks dispensing robots meeting each other for the first time. A project that Phil and I (as with DoomZ, and a bunch of other projects) have been working on for a little while. They run of a raspberry Pi with 2 types of pumps - one for mixer and one for alcohol. BB3 is a portable briefcase bot that can run off batteries, and the front is left plain so that you can chalk up decorations to suit the occasion. Poshbot has laser cut panels and is housed inside a speaker cabinet. BB3 wiring is just temporary, as I have a load of new tubing and bottles to put in, so will be cleaning everything up at this point. I would also like a go on the laser cutter...
The brain commands are done with a hacked mindflex eeg reader, which communicates over rf to the pi. It can be plugged into batteries (but I had plugged into the wrong thing, which is why Phil was mocking about voltage)
