"Noah Harrington's Blue Velvet" Trailer (Parody of the "Blue Velvet" Trailer)
10This took me 1-2 days to make in Final Cut Pro X.
The idea for this edit came to me around May or June. Earlier in April, @SpaceHunterM did an awesome parody of the trailer for David Lynch's classic 1986 neo-noir mystery thriller movie Blue Velvet using clips from various Angry Video Game Nerd media. A while after seeing her parody, I was inspired to do a parody of the trailer myself, despite not having seen the actual movie before, using various clips from videos made by my friend Noah Harrington, a.k.a. @theclassicdreamer9187 . This edit wasn't easy to do, as I had to find the best clips from a vast array of videos that would fit for each shot and crop all the clips to match the original 2.35:1 aspect ratio of the original trailer (I could've easily retained the original aspect ratios of each clip, but I decided to crop them all as best as I could since @SpaceHunterM 's AVGN edit was also like that; plus, it makes everything look really cool in scope). Thankfully, I managed to do a pretty sweet job, and I'm quite pleased with what I managed to put together here. I hope you all enjoy this video (and yes; that is me doing the opening voiceover). ^w^
