Nanrait's Videos Game Music #366 - Boku no Tennis Jinsei - Track 3

From Boku no Tennis Jinsei (Sega Dreamcast, 2001)

-

I've been trying to work on some 3D animation and it has caused a lot of problems. For a week the software kept crashing. I'm at home at the moment and finally, through a lot of frustration, I have got it to work. I am working on a collaborative project and am animating another students 3D model. The 3D model was causing problems with scaling and keying and other things. It wasn't made very amazingly. We are still learning, after all. As for myself, I learned a lot so far this year and my own model works a lot better. However my model is a background character so the fact that it's easier to animate doesn't matter very much.

Anywho, thinking about 3D has led me to various thoughts that I am going to leave here.

Even though I prefer traditional drawing and colouring, 3D modelling is becoming a little bit fun for me. It can induce frustration and headaches in me, but it is still cool.

Another thought came from when I listened to a lot of Puyo Puyo music this week. I looked at videos of Puyo Puyo Da!, the Sega Dreamcast Puyo Puyo rhythm game. It has amazing models and animations which me and my brother liked a lot. I'm thinking about making 3D models for fun in the near future. I am busy and tired. The tiredness gets in the way and makes me think I won't be able to do any of those cool things. I can't let myself be negative but it is hard. I'd like to sit on a peaceful hill and not worry about anything.

3D models and the Dreamcast leads me to this song. It's from a little tennis game made by somebody called Bimboosoft which I think is a great name.
