Prices for Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 4070 Ti graphics card have leaked online and essentially confirm the MSRP to be around $800-$900 which in my opinion is ridiculously over priced. A graphics card like this shouldn’t have been more than $550. But we’re at the point now that mainstream graphics cards are costing you an arm and a leg. Nvidia have normalized crypto mining boom prices and this is going to price out A LOT of people from the PC gaming hobby. Your only options are going to be to hunt for deals on previous gen graphics cards which is a lot easier said than done or hit up the used market which has its own risks. Given the fact that the RTX 4070 Ti is so overpriced cheaper cards like the RTX 4060 Ti will follow suit therefore pricing even more people out of this hobby.
