OBS tutorial| How to set up OBS for recording lag free 2021!| OBS made easy in 6 minutes!
7Today we are learning how to set up OBS for recording lag free, its said in the video however for best user experience make sure you launch OBS in administrator mode! OBS has many customization options however not every single option can be utilized for every system. We go over the settings I recommend for my current set up (i7-8700k and a 1080ti) however, we also explore how you guys can get your settings dialed in for your specific use. (don't freak out if you dip in frames swapping applications that's normal for the system to adjust the frames clear it and should be back to 0 again) For example the bit rate I have it turned up if I wanted to record in 4k it still stays perfectly clear however if you need to drop it down half then it should be perfectly fine just need to play around with the settings to get it dialed in to your liking! In the bottom left hand corner of the screen you will see a message saying encoder overloaded or something along those lines and that tells you that you need to adjust your presets/profile I found these settings to be fairly forgiving allowing for the maximum amount of bit rate so the presets should work in most applications however if your system needs it lower it will be perfectly ok some lower end systems may also need to disable psycho visual tuning! As a extra tip setting up our OBS we also go over how to get your voice to stay a consistent peak on the left and right even though all other audio is stereo.
